Referral partners earn up to 10% of Freedom for Founders' success fee when the referred owner's business sale closes. The exact percentage is based on your level of involvement and is agreed in writing before we engage the client. There is no retainer or upfront cost.
Your referral fee is paid at the close of the transaction. Business sales typically take 6 to 12 months from engagement to close. The amount is locked in your signed referral agreement from the start, so there is no renegotiation at close.
No. After the introduction call, Freedom for Founders manages the full process: valuation, buyer outreach, due diligence, negotiation, and close. You stay informed at key stages but are not required to be actively involved.
Yes. If you prefer, Freedom for Founders will donate your referral fee to a registered charity of your choice on your behalf at the time of close.
