  • Marketing preferences – email / SMS opt‑in choices.

We do not knowingly collect information about children under 16. U.S. visitors: we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA).

4. HOW AND WHY WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use personal information to:

  1. (a) respond to enquiries by email, phone, or SMS;
  2. (b) provide advisory services and event access;
  3. (c) send newsletters, white papers, and invites (with your consent);
  4. (d) analyse and improve our websites;
  5. (e) prevent fraud, meet AML/KYC obligations, and comply with laws;
  6. (f) operate limited automated tools (AI voice agents) that never make decisions with legal or similarly significant effect;
  7. (g) understand which businesses and professionals visit our website, so that we may follow up with them about our services; and
  8. (h) measure how our advertising performs and show relevant ads.

5. HOW WE CONTACT YOU

If you ask us to contact you, we will respond via the channels you provide. Standard carrier rates apply to SMS. Text STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Marketing messages are sent only with express or implied consent under Canada’s Anti‑Spam Legislation (CASL) and always include an unsubscribe option.

6. COOKIES, TRACKING & “DO NOT TRACK”

We use first‑ and third‑party cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and show relevant ads. They load when you visit our website. The main tools are:

  • Google Analytics (Google) – measures visits and how our website is used.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) – measures responses to our ads on Facebook and Instagram and helps show relevant ads.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) – records how visitors move, click and scroll on our pages, so we can improve them.
  • GoHighLevel – runs the forms on our website and may set its own cookies. When you submit certain forms, GoHighLevel may also send Meta a record of the submission from its servers, so we can measure our ads.
  • RB2B – website visitor identification, described below.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add‑on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and manage how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook or Instagram settings. We currently do not respond to browser Do‑Not‑Track signals.

Website visitor identification. Our website uses RB2B, a visitor‑identification service operated by Retention.com. RB2B places a script and cookies on our pages that recognise your browser and device. For visitors located in the United States, RB2B may match your visit to identity information it holds and tell us who you are (for example your name, job title, company, business email address and LinkedIn profile) along with the pages you viewed and when. We use this information to understand who is interested in our services and may contact you about them. We do not receive individual identities from RB2B for visitors outside the United States.

To opt out of visitor identification, email privacy@freedomforfounders.com. We will stop contacting you on the basis of your website visits and delete the visitor‑identification data we hold about you.

7. WHEN WE SHARE INFORMATION

We share personal information only:

  • with service providers bound by confidentiality, including the analytics, advertising and form providers named in section 6;
  • with prospective buyers or sellers when you authorise us in writing;
  • when required by law; or
  • if we sell or restructure our business (the new owner will honour this Policy).

We do not sell or share personal information for monetary consideration or cross‑context behavioural advertising under California’s CPRA. If that ever changes, we will provide a clear opt‑out link.

8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS & SAFEGUARDS

Our main systems are in Canada and the United States. Where data crosses borders we rely on safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request a copy by emailing us.

9. SECURITY MEASURES & BREACH NOTIFICATION

We use TLS encryption, multi‑factor authentication, role‑based access, secure shredding, and routine security testing. If a breach poses a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and regulators without undue delay.

10. DATA RETENTION

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose collected, plus any extra period required by law, tax, or audit. We then securely destroy or anonymise it.
